'Titanic,' Will Smith, Hanson and Michael Jordan Among Winners At Nickelodeon's 11th Annual Kids' Choice Awards

LOS ANGELES, April 4 PRNewswire "Titanic," Will Smith, Hanson and Michael Jordan were among the celebrities who received coveted Kids' Choice Blimp Awards at Nickelodeon's 11th Annual Kids Choice Awards, hosted by Rosie O'Donnell. UCLA's Pauley Pavilion was filled with more than 8,500 cheering kids and families gathered to honor this year's winners. The evening was capped off with Nickelodeon's traditional Kids' Choice Sliming. Sean "Puffy" Combs received the honor.
More than five million kids participated in the voting this year. Nickelodeon Online received a record breaking 4.2 million votes from March 16- 23 on nick.com and Nickelodeon Online on AOL (keyword: nick).
This year's Kids' Choice Hall of Fame winners were Tia and Tamera Mowry. The Sister, Sister stars have won numerous Kids' Choice Awards in past years for Favorite Television Actress and have participated in the awards shows as presenters.

A highlight of the evening occurred when Madonna presented the Favorite Movie Award for "Titanic," Actor Billy Zane accepted on behalf of the Oscar-winning film. She also introduced the performance of Cleopatra, a new group signed to her Maverick label. The three young British singers made their US debut, performing their hit single "Cleopatra's Theme."
The show's grand finale was Puffy's acceptance of the Favorite Dresser Award, a new category voted in by kids. As he enthusiastically thanked the kid audience, Nickelodeon's traditional green Slime rained down on the hip hop star.
Additional musical performances were given by rock superstars Aerosmith, pop sensations Hanson and Favorite Singer winner Sean "Puffy" Combs. Other celebrity presenters were Shawn Wayans, Marion Wayans, Tom Arnold, Penny Marshall, Steve Tyler, Joe Perry, Kenan Thompson, Kel Mitchell, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, Rider Strong, Larisa Oleynik, Katie Holmes, Brandon Hammond, Alex D. Linz, Kristen Johnston, and Cammi Granato.
